I have been trying to renew policy
I have been trying to renew my excess policy for three weeks. The links do not work and I have sent three messages via the contact page. Still no help! Just a waste of my time as no such thing as customer service. After two years of great policies - just frustrating!!!!

Eversure breakdown best avoided.
Corrections cannot be made after paying online.
The cost of cancelling within a few days is £8.10, described as the setting up fee, ie 16.3% of the premium.
The contact web page fails, and email requests have so far been ignored.
No response received from Eversure after the 4th request for a refund, so time for the small claims court.

No further a month later!!! RUBBISH SERVICE!
We started a claim with eversure over a month ago for our caravan as our motor mover got damaged after hitting a pothole and they keep referring us to the company our policy is with. While they are a brokers they have taken our money and haven’t helped us out at all.

Other Brokers we have used before have dealt with our claims or renewals and has been incredibly easy and simple… but not eversure!!!

All we keep getting from eversure is what our policy number is and then an automated email response saying they have received our enquiry and someone will get back to us.

The company we get referred to isn’t helpful either and neither company want to take responsibility for our claim.

Good job our caravan isn’t written off we would be well and truly out of pocket!!

Absolutley disgusted that we are no further forward from policy details in a month!!!

Absolutely disgusting service. I have euro cover , yesterday I had a flat tyre in Spain at a motorway service station looked deliberate. no spare just a pump system that would not work due to gapping hole in tyre. Called and was told truck would be despatched 2 hrs later he arrived said no chance of repair on Sunday ,he was to take us to hotel and tyre would be fixed next day. dropped us off in middle of nowhere in spain we walked to the door of hotel he drove of hotel closed. I had an 84yr old in the car in 40 degrees i called eversure 18 times in the next 4 hrs last call i was told we cant get you a hotel have a look on the internet and send us the bill if it wasnt for a stroke of luck that a stranger came along and helped god knows what would of happened . My mother is at A and E now with heat stroke . Well done Eversure . I will go out of my way to publicize this starting with a newspaper. Disgusting..

I was told my policy covered my claim and 6 weeks later and numerous emails and phone calls they dont even reply, just put you on hold and cut you off.
Completely feel ripped off!!

Somehow I was charged twice for a policy but Eversure automatically refunded me before I had noticed.
Didn't have to chase them.
That's a company you can trust!

Super slow response, the claim still not resolved and answered
Super slow response. I have photography insurance with Eversure. Since submitting the claim the response has been extremely slow which is really not helpful when you are a photographer and you would appreciate quick response to get your gear sorted. I had to chase them twice after a week of putting in a claim as I had no response at all. They directed me to their subcontractor Ageas who didn’t know anything about my claim, had to chase them twice again just to acknowledge my claim. I have now provided a quote from repair company and it’s been 10 days and still no reply despite chasing them and asking for an update and if they received a quote. 3 weeks later I still have no idea what to do next despite getting all the documents and quotes that they need. The insuring process was smooth but claims process is super slow and painful which is worrying and frustrating.

Cheap but very slow to respond to claims
(I used Eversure for camera insurance, in particular referring to an accidental damage claim)
Their prices are very competitive, but they use another company, QuestGates, for their claims settlement.
QuestGates themselves have an undeservedly high 3 star rating here on Trustpilot. In my case, Ifat, the QG agent I was assigned did not respond to any emails, only very rarely answered the phone (usually just getting through to voicemail which was never followed up), and on the rare occasions when I did get through to them on the phone the audio quality was very poor so it was difficult to understand the speech. I had more success emailing the team above the particular agent, but still responses were slow.
QuestGates outsourced part of the job again to ValueCheckers who collected and checked the insured item (a camera lens), then failed to notify QuestGates of their conclusion so I had to chase that up and pass the message on. It took two months for QuestGates to decide that Eversure should give me the money, at which point I was promised it within 3 to 7 days, and it actually took at least 10.
This is partly a failing of QuestGates (I'm going to review them too) but Eversure can easily see that this is not uncommon behaviour from their supplier and should find a better one.

Updating existing policy
I've had a policy with Eversure for a number of years now, but I needed to update my policy to add coverage for travel outside of the UK.

They were able to quickly sort this out for me in time for my trip and the staff member was very helpful.
